This boho macrame shawl has a simplistic repeat while increasing every six rows on the left edge. While working this up do not stress about running out of yarn. This can also be done with two skeins for a shorter wrap. The organic edges allow for finishing on any row of choice.

Boho Macrame Crochet Wrap Notes:

This pattern has a simplistic repeat while increasing every ten rows on the left edge. While working this up do not stress about running out of yarn. This can also be done with two skeins for a shorter wrap. The organic edges allow for finishing on any row of choosing.

Macramé Instructions: This can be completed after crocheting the wrap. I felt visual instructions would be best for the macramé portion. Your piece will start with 21 stitches along the beginning edge. Attach 20 strands across the 21 stitches. A video can be followed at the end of this post.

Row 2 (WS): Ch 2, skip first sc and sc in next sc, *ch 1, skip 1, sc in next*; repeat from * to * across, turn. (20 sts)

Row 3: Ch 2, skip first sc and sc in next chain space, *ch 1, skip 1, sc in next*; repeat from * to * until the last stitch. In the last stich: sc, ch 1, sc, turn. (this increases the row by 2 sts, 22 sts)

Rows 4-12: Ch 2, skip first sc and sc in next chain space, *ch 1, skip 1, sc in next*; repeat from * to * across, turn. (22 sts)

Rows 13-230: Repeat rows 3-12 until the wrap reaches the desired length. Approximately 23 repeats and ending with 68 sts.

Finishing:

Weave in all loose ends. Follow the video link to create the macramé edge.

Aggressively block wrap by using blocking boards and pins. If desired, tie a knot on the end of the wrap just above the macramé portion. And then wear it proudly! I hope you enjoyed crocheting this macrame shawl pattern.

How To Wear:

This can be wrapped and tied any way you like and even worn as a scarf. I love folding it in half, placing it around my neck, and then pulling the ends through the loop on one side.
