Cavit Knit crochet Beanie Hat

Have you ever wanted to try some colorwork? Well this hat is a great place to start. It uses two colors of yarn but only one color is used per round. So it's a sneaky way to have the look of advanced colorwork but at the beginner level.

Cavit Crochet Beanie Free Pattern Notes:

  • Beanie is crocheted in the round from the brim to the crown with color work done by changing yarn every other round.
  • Carry the yarn up the inside of your hat without having to cut it every time you change color.
  • For a pony tail hat, stop working two rounds before finishing round. Fasten off and weave in ends.

For smoother decreases, do an invisible sc2tog:

Hi! I'm Briana K

Hello, my fellow crafters!
I feel we are all natural-born artists nourishing our talents throughout our entire lives.

I've been fortunate enough to have found a home in the fiber arts community where my passions for crochet, knit, and cross stitch can grow.

I'm a Florida girl for the past decade, but before that, I lived in the Rocky Mountains.
While I love nature and hiking, I've grown extremely fond of the sunny beaches. Read More…
