Crochet Boho Grocery Bag
Raise your hand if you love grocery shopping. Now, if you have your hand raised, can you go ahead and do my shopping too? I chuckle a little here because I'm not a fan of grocery shopping. Maybe with this Crochet Boho Grocery Bag, I would be a bit more excited to pick up fresh foods.
Browsing the aisles when I don't have a huge list is enjoyable. Like when it's just for fun and a few snacks. Or at my favorite store here call Publix, I love shopping for the BOGO's, especially if it's wine.

But there was this one time my BFF and I ended up at the grocery store for a night out. Yep, the grocery store. We both had young children and, on a whim, decided to ditch the husbands and kids and do something fun.
We found ourselves at Lucky's, which has now closed, and that makes me want to cry. The grocery carts had wine cup holders, and you could have a drink while you shop. Genius.
So we laughed and pushed our carts around, impulse buying all the good stuff that would never make a planned grocery list. It's one of my favorite memories and the best grocery trip of my life.

Crochet Boho Grocery Bag Notes:
-This pattern starts with the base of the bag and is worked from bottom up.
-The chain 2 counts as a stitch at the beginning of the round. At the end of each round join to the top of the chain 2.
-An alternative to a chain 2 is the Stacked Single Crochet.

Fringe:
Cut 144 strands of yarn approx. 6 inches in length. Tip: wrapping around an item such as a cell phone and cutting once can speed up the process.
Using 3 strands at a time, tie a larks-head knot on every other stitch at the top of the bag.
To even out the bottom of the fringe lay the bag flat and cut the bottoms of the fringe.
