About This Knit Shawl:
The Dawn To Dusk Knit Shawl is inspired by the usual knitter’s activity, browsing yarn. I was wandering around a fiber market during the Crocheters Guild Of America conference and came across this stunning yarn by The Fibre Studio.
Well, I came across a lot of stunning yarn as you can imagine.

But what really caught my eye was the 50 Shades of Gradient. I swear it took me about thirty minutes to choose which colorway I wanted to go with. My sister was with me and being so patient and kind. She crochets as well so she get’s the yarn lingo.
In trying to help me decide she asked me what I might make with the yarn. I knew right away I wanted to make a shawl or wrap to show off the ombre colorway.
When I came across the Mountaineer shade, it reminded me of the sun coming up and then going down into the night again. The yarn also inspired the title of the design, hence, Dawn to Dusk.
Feel free to dig through your stash and find a yarn that works for you!
This shawl is delicate and lightweight which means it can be an accessory for an afternoon or stunning for an evening out.
Can this knit shawl be resized?
Of course! The construction of this wrap can be knitted in other yarn weights as well.
Because this has a simple repeat it would be easy to make this shawl larger or smaller but simply working less or more rows.
