Heart EOS Lip Balm Design:
Follow basic lip balm pattern until round 9. Staring on round 9, repeat this graph pattern every 10 stitches.
Knit Strap:
3.25 mm DPN or Magic Loop (US 3)
I-cord:
To make an I-cord, you will cast on 4 stitches, *slide all the sts to the opposite end of double-pointed needle; carrying the yarn tightly across the back of work, knit to end of the row, do not turn; repeat * until I-cord reaches 3 inches or desired length. Cut yarn; leaving a tail for attaching.
Sew both ends of the strap to the back of your lip balm holder.
Split Ring:
With 4.0 needle, pick up 4 stitches from the top of lip balm holder.
Attach yarn and complete 4 rows of stockinette stitch (knit & purl).
Bind off knitwise and place the split ring onto the small tab, fold the tab over the split ring and use a yarn needle to stitch to the body to secure the split ring in place.
