And a fellow crocheter also suggested using a lacey mill ends I found doubled with #4 vanna yarn.

The squirrel pattern requires some crochet experience and knowledge of the basic crochet stitches.
Crochet stitches used are Single Crochet, Double Crochet, Single Crochet Decrease.
