Furls Hook
9.0mm (M/N hook), or hook to obtain gauge

Notions:

Removable stitch markers if needed
Yarn needle to weave in ends
Scissors
2 Buttons, ¾ inch buttons (1 inch buttons work well too)

sl st- Slip Stitch
ch- Chain
sc- Single Crochet
hdc- Half Double Crochet
dc- Double Crochet
long dc- Long Double Crochet, (place dc stitch in the row below)
Fsc- Foundation Single Crochet

Notes:

Crochet in the lower horizontal bar:
(Also known as the bump, hump, back back loop, 3rd loop)
This loop is found on the back side of your work. It is the horizontal bar behind the V-shape
stitch worked in a normal single crochet. (Picture at end of pattern)

Written Instructions for the One Skevening Crochet Cowl:

Button Cuff:

Row 1: Fsc 19, join and chain 1. Stitch Count: 19

Rows 2-3: Sc in the lower horizontal bar around, join and chain 1. Stitch Count: 19

Row 4: Sc in the lower horizontal bar around, join, fasten off and weave in ends. Set aside. Stitch Count: 19

Infinity Scarf:

Row 1: Chain 101, turn. Stitch Count 101

Row 2: In third chain from hook, *dc, chain 1, skip one; repeat * until last, hdc in last, turn. Stitch Count 98

Row3: Chain 2 (counts as first stitch), *long dc in next, chain 1, skip one; repeat * until last, hdc into the top of chain 2 from previous round. Stitch Count 98

Row 4: Repeat row 3 two more times. Stitch Count 98

Row 5: Chain 2, *long dc in next, sc in next; repeat * across. Stitch Count 98

Leave a long tail, fasten off.
Place the Button Cuff onto one end of the scarf. Make sure the scarf is not twisted and seam ends together. No need for your seam to be perfect or pretty, because the next step is to slide the button cuff over the seam. Stitch button cuff in place by sewing on two buttons. Now wear your new fashion or gift it to loved one or friend
