Gaudi Sidewalk Blanket
I could not stop staring at my feet. I was surrounded by some of the most beautiful architecture Barcelona had to offer, but the sidewalk had won my heart.
This blanket pays homage to an infamous tile sidewalk created by Antoni Gaudi. Right away the hexagon shape spoke to me. It’s such a mathematical shape that is often found in nature. Top that off with every rotation a new shape is formed representing the sun, earth, and sea.
That’s right, this is one hexagon shape repeated over and over and once joined creates a magnificent result. Taking it from concrete to blanket is a worthwhile adventure.
