Faux Fur Fabric for optional pompom
Yarn:
Malabrigo Worsted
Color A: Ravelry Red; Color B: Natural
As long as gauge is met, other medium yarns can be substituted:

Yardage:
Newborn 95 yards; Baby 160 yards; Toddler 175 yards; Preschool 200 yards, Child 240 yards; Teen/Adult 250 yards; Adult 270 yards
Abbreviations/Stitches:
k- knit
p- purl
k2tog- knit two stitches together
Gauge:
24 rows x 20 stitches = 4 inch x 4 inch in stockinette. Adjust needle size to obtain gauge if needed.
Measurements/Sizes:
Newborn 7 ½ wide by 7 ¼ tall; Baby 8 wide by 8 tall; Toddler 9 wide by 9 tall; Preschool 9 ½ wide by 10 tall, Child 10 wide by 11 tall; Teen/Adult 10 ¾ wide by 12 tall; Adult 11 ¼ by 12 ¼ tall
