Sweet Knit Romper Onesie by Briana K Designs

By popular request I’ve published the Sweet romper. A simple and quick design to knit up but a cute touch to any photo session or outfit.

Knitting Needles:

Size 8 (5.0 mm) DPN or Circular Needles
Can use Straight Needles for Romper

Furls Hook
4.0mm (G hook), for ties

Notions:

Stitch Marker
Sewing Needle
Scissors
Row Counter

Yarn:

Medium 4
Malabrigio Worsted Dusty Rose or similar weight yarn

Yardage:

Yardage for Romper: 65 for Newborn, 115 for 6 month, 127 for 12 month, 150 for 18 month
Yardage for Bonnet: 65-95 yards

Abbreviations/Stitches:

CO- cast on
k- knit
p- purl
k2tog- knit two stitches together
k1b- knit in back loop of stitch
yo- yarn over
ssk- slip slip knit
m1L- make one left
m1R- make one right

Gauge:

 20 stitches by 26 rows in stockinette
= 4 inches x 4 inches

Easy/Beginner

Newborn Top of bib to crotch is 9 inches
The width is 6 ¾ inches
6 month, 12 months, 18 month
Top of bib to crotch:
6 month: 12 inches; 12 month: 13 inches; 18 month: 14 inches
Width:
6 month: 8 inches; 12 months 8 ½ inches; 18 months: 9 inches
Bonnet Size:
Newborn Height is 5 ½ inches,
Depth is 5 ¼ inches
