Swirl Pants or Shorts Crochet Pattern
Swirl pants are just so cute with a gentle texture. It can be made for new little ones or for older children.

Supplies:

Crochet Hook:

Furls Hook
H (5.0 mm)Hook for Toddler and older

G Hook (4.0 mm) for all sizes

F Hook (3.75) for 12 month and younger 

Notions:

Removable stitch markers if needed
Yarn needle to weave in ends
Scissors

Yarn:

Bernat Softee Baby Little Mouse Or any light weight 3 yarn.

Yardage:

60 - 250 yards (55 - 229 m)

Abbreviations/Stitches:

Ch- Chain St- Stitch SC- Single Crochet DC- Double Crochet Tr- Triple Crochet FP-Front Post Sp- Space Sl St- Slip Stitch Sk- Skip Cluster- DC 4 in space

Gauge:

 15 stitches and 8 rows = 4 inches in double crochet

Skill Level:

Intermediate 

Pattern Suggestions For a more accurate fit it is best to measure the child you are making the pants for. However, if this is not possible, I have included an estimated size chart by age. For different styles/variety try using a different color for the waist and bottom leg cuffs.
