The Glass Knife Pin Cushion

Sharing is caring!

Glass Knife Dessert Pin Cushion

The Glass Knife Pin Cushion's inspiration comes from one of my favorite restaurants in Central Florida. It's where I want to celebrate every special event or just brunch with the girls. And where I can buy the most delectable and cute desserts.

The Glass Knife my first recommendation to anyone with a sweet tooth and loves savory foods. With the rich history, classy decor, and gourmet dessert menu, there is little left to desire. This dessert is a little homage to a place that fills my belly and my soul. And below is the Key Lime Dessert from the Glass Knife.

Glass Knife Key Lime Dessert

Over the last few months, I've been going through withdrawal hardcore. As I'm sure, many of us have our favorite places and a sense of normalcy. It's not just because of the food, but for the community. During the time of isolation, I wanted to let my favorite spot know I was thinking about them during the period they had to shut their doors for safety.

And speaking of sweet things. I wanted to tell you about my latest addition in tools. The Candy Shop Hooks! If you haven't tried these hooks yet you need to. Not only do they come in different colors but fun grips I'm totally digging.

Notes:

-Using the hook over, versus yarn over method, will lessen a traveling seam.

-Front Float Double Crochet: Yo, insert hook from front-to back-to-front around post of indicated st (or next available floating st, if no st is indicated) and pull up a loop, [yo and draw through 2 loops] twice. *The main difference between a front float double crochet and a front post double crochet is working the stitch behind it. With a front float, no stitches are skipped and it causes the stitch to pop or float on the front of the crochet work. The stitch counts where there are front float stitches will be written as follows: regular stitches/front float stitches.
