Needles: Size 8 (5.0mm) straights

Yarn needle to weave in ends

Yardage:

600 Yards
120 yards of each color

Abbreviations/Stitches:

k - knit
p - purl
p2tog - purl two sts together
sl1-k2tog-psso
st(s) -stitch(es)
yo - yarn over

Gauge:

 15 sts by 21 rows = 4x4” in st pattern (Rows 1-30) and blocked.
OR cast on 21 sts and follow video instructions for the swatch.

Width: 13.25 inches (34 cm)
Length: 70 inches (178 cm)

Notes:

This knit wrap is worked flat from one end to the other and in rows. It can be worked on straight or circular needles.

Special Stitches:
The sl1-k2tog-psso (slip one, knit 2 together, pass the slipped stitch over) is a left slanted decrease that decreases two stitches.
Slip one stitch as if to knit. Knit the next 2 stitches together. Insert left needle into the front of slipped stitch on the right needle. Pass the slipped stitch over the k2tog stitch and off the right needle. This completes the sl1-k2tog-psso decrease. Video Tutorial:

Color changes can be mixed up to your liking. For the example shown start with the Color A and then the accent colors will go in order Color B (blue), Color C (orange), Color D (green), Color E (grey)

Pattern Repeats:

Repeat the rows 1-30 from above three total times for each accent color. Then repeat rows 1-6 one more time for the final edge. Bind off in knit stitch.

Tassels:

Tassels are an optional detail that can be added to the ends of the wrap. For a video tutorial watch below:

Finishing:

Fasten off and weave in all ends. Block and wear!
