Crochet-along with Briana
Let’s make the Petal Loop Beanie together
It’s one rectangle, one squishy stitch, and two weeks of us all working on it at the same time. The pattern’s on the blog, and the crochet-along lives inside the Stitch app.
Starts Saturday, Oct 17
36 makers already in
8 sizes, newborn to adult
Free to join. You’ll need a free Stitch account, which takes about a minute.

How it works
Three steps, then you’re in
No sign-up form, no waiting for emails to arrive. You can be set up before your coffee goes cold.
1
Grab the pattern
Get the Petal Loop Beanie in front of you before Saturday, along with the video tutorial, so you can start on day one.
2
Open the app and join
Tap Community, then the Petal Loop Beanie crochet-along. Fill in your Maker Card with your size, your yarn, and who you’re making it for.
3
Crochet with everyone
Six posts land in the feed over two weeks. Share your progress, cheer other makers on, and ask when you get stuck.
Where it all happens
Inside the Stitch Community
This isn’t a comment section. It’s a proper little clubhouse built into the app, and the crochet-along has its own studio inside it.

- A feed that’s just usShare your yarn, your progress, your finished hat. Filter it by everyone, by Briana, or by the people who’ve finished.
- Ask when you’re stuckPost your question right where you are. My team and the other makers answer, so you’re not stuck until I wake up.
- Circles for your peopleMake a small private group for your crochet friends, your guild, or your mom and sisters, and work on it together in there.
- Find a FriendPair up with someone else making the same thing and finish it together.
- Points as you goStitch Points add up while you take part, and they count toward the community goal we’re all chipping away at.

Printable gift tags for the hat you give away
Six wrap-around hat tags you print at home, cut out, and thread onto the brim. There’s a spot for who it’s for and who it’s from, and they’re designed so the person unwrapping it just sees something lovely. Most of these hats end up as gifts, so you may as well finish them properly.
Only for makers who join the crochet-along in the app

What you’ll need

| Yarn | Premier Anti-Pilling Select Worsted #4, 50% anti-pilling acrylic and 50% nylon, 185 yds per 100g |
| Hook | H, 5.0 mm crochet hook |
| Yarn needle | For weaving in and closing the top |
| Stitch marker | Removable, to keep your place |
| Scissors | The good ones |
| Measuring tape | You’ll measure before you fasten off |

How much yarn you’ll need
Eight sizes, newborn through adult large. A fold-up brim uses more, so check the column you’re actually making.

Questions
Before you ask
Do I have to pay to join?
Nope. The pattern is free to read on the blog and the crochet-along is free in the app. The printable version in the app is the only paid part, and it’s optional.
What if I’ve never used the Stitch app?
You’ll make a free account with an email and a password, which takes about a minute. Then tap Community and the crochet-along is sitting right there.
Do I need to download anything?
No. It runs in your browser. You can add it to your phone’s home screen if you want it to feel like an app, but you don’t have to.
How do I get the gift tags?
Join the crochet-along in the app and they’re in there waiting for you. They aren’t anywhere else.
What if I’m slow?
Then you’re like most of us. Everything stays open after October 29, so you can keep going at your own pace and still post your finished hat.
What if I get stuck?
Post your question in the feed. My team and the other makers will jump in. There’s also a full video tutorial you can watch any time.
Can I do this with my friends?
Please do. Make a Circle in the app, invite them with a link, and you’ll have your own little corner to chat in while you all work on it.
We start Saturday
Thirty-six of us are already in with our yarn picked. Come be thirty-seven.
Or just read the pattern free on the blog.
Happy crocheting and cheers, Briana
