All stitches will be worked in single crochet.

There is no need to chain 1 at the beginning of each row. Without the chain 1 you will have straighter edges. Use a stitch marker to keep track of the first stitch in the row.

Do not fasten off and continue to work around the border by slip stitching around all sides. Place a ch 1 on the corners, do not join

Next Rnd: Working in the blo, sl st around one more time placing a ch 1 on the corners, join and fasten off.

Weave in all ends and block to dimensions.
