Construction

The Granny All the Way Ornaments are so easy to make that you won’t want to stop once you get started! (And they’re an excellent project for those leftover yarn scraps!) Each ornament design is worked from the bottom up in rounds, starting with simple increases, moving to colorwork rounds, and finishing with simple decreases. Add festive embellishments if you desire - wooden beads, little tassels, bells…make these ornaments your own!

And don’t forget to make coordinating Granny All the Way Stockings! And if you have extra yarn, you could even make some merry and bright Granny Hats to match!

Special Stitches

Stacked Single Crochet (Stsc): Do NOT chain, insert hook into next stitch, yo, pull up a loop, yo and pull through both loops, insert hook in the vertical bar below, yo, pull up a loop, yo and pull through both loops on the hook.

Pattern Notes

  • A ch 1 at the beginning of a row is not counted as a stitch.
  • Using a stitch marker at the beginning of each row is recommended.
  • If no color is indicated on the chart, work the sts in Color A or main color.
