Our first fan spotlight is on Steff Walker from Steff’s Simple Stitches. We asked Steff some of our untraditional questions in an effort to learn the most valuable information. Check them out below with a couple beautiful creations she made with Briana K Designs patterns.
What is your favorite Briana K pattern?
Hmm, I have many sitting patiently in my Ravelry library, waiting for me to make them. Of those I’ve made, I think it is your Santa cowl, my little guy adores it!
How many Taylor Swift songs do you actually listen to every single day?
Too many? Lol, I have a 10 year old daughter, so listening to them is a given. On average, I’d say 2 or 3 – she beats Annoying Orange, which my son makes me listen to.
What’s the worst place you have ever traveled to?
I’m not sure if I have a worst place actually, but the worst flight I ever has was from London to Gran Canaria. Perfect, until we landed at the airport, and the little girl behind me stood up and yelled “that was my first flight, it was great!!!!” Then threw up. Down my back. It was so gross.
Ooh, actually I remember going to one of the Greek Islands, Kos. And my passport was stolen, along with several others belonging to other hotel guests. We walked along to the police station to report it, and almost got arrested for laughing inappropriately. I had to travel home with this sheet of paper, all in Greek, which I don’t speak, and panicked all the way home that I wouldn’t be allowed back in the UK.
What’s the weirdest place you’ve ever intentionally vomited?
A litter bin. This may sound fairly tame, but said bin was attached to a lamp post outside a club in Puerto Rico, on Gran Canaria. It wasn’t even alcohol induced, but the result of a chicken dish I’d eaten just before going to the club, and had to be done so we could carry on clubbing, lol!. We were impressed that I managed to vomit through the slit in the side of the bin though, with no spillage. A friend wasn’t so lucky!
Have you ever found the image of a biblical figure on a piece of toast?
Sadly no, but I shall now put this on my bucket list!
