If The Slipper Fits Crochet Cable Floor Pouf

If Cinderella wanted to most luxurious place to prop up her feet after a long night of dancing in glass shoes, this If The Slipper Fits Crochet Pouf would be it. The knit mimic stitches swirl and dance across the home décor piece and is exciting to work up.

The cable floor poof is worked in separate pieces and in the round: the top & bottom, and the pouf body. The three pieces are then joined by slip stitching, and an optional zipper is placed for opening and closing the poof. It's a great option for storing your kid's stuffed animals or even yarn.

You can now buy a bundle of all the patterns from

Are the Magical Crochet Stitches Hard?

Not at all! The stitches used in the If The Slipper Fits Crochet Pouf you might already know. This is NOT working crochet short rows; much easier than that. To get the knit look, we are uniquely combining just a couple of stitches. Want to get introduced to these stitches? Check out the How to Crochet the Knit Purl Stitch blog post.

This pattern comes with a video tutorial to guide you through each step. And it also has two types of charts to work from as well as written instructions.

What do you use to stuff a crochet pouf?

This is totally up to you! There are several options to choose from. Here are some suggestions for stuffing:

Bean Bag Pellets
Shredded Memory Foam - you could even shred your own from an old memory foam bed mattress pad.
Use the stuffing from old pillows
Place a zipper on one end of the pouf and use as a storage bin for children's stuffed animals or yarn.
