Long Summer Crochet Duster Free Pattern

Sharing is caring!

With the weather getting warmer, the Long Summer Crochet Duster is the perfect project for the season. I hope you are looking forward to long summer days and cool summer nights like I am.

This crochet duster is worked as one very long piece and then seamed on the sides. With the two-row repeat, it's a relaxing project. And with the yarn used in this pattern, it's a lightweight project, which means no sweating while you create.

Have you ever worn a long crochet duster? It can be styled in different ways and worn over a variety of outfits. Throw on a belt as an extra accessory. This will also add shape to the design.

A crochet duster can also be worn as a swimsuit cover. Or throw it over a maxi dress or romper. It can pair so well with a variety of outfits and is a big style this season.

Want it a bit shorter? Go for it! Crochet fewer rows and have it fall above your knees or your waist. I had my beautiful sister model this to show an example of what this might look like.

The Lightweight Yarn

Supplies can make all the difference when it comes to the drape of an outfit. This one is so flowy because of the lightweight Comfy Fingering Yarn from WeCrochet. This yarn is 75% Pima Cotton and 25% Acrylic. It can be thrown in the wash over and over and still hold its stitch definition. And with the soft feel, you will want to wear it all summer long.
