This cape is designed to fit various sized from toddler to pre-teen. Choose size based on measurements desired for drape and length. A guideline for sizing is small= toddler/preschool, medium= preschool/child, large=child/pre-teen.

Crochet Hook:

Furls Hook
size K (6.5mm), or hook to obtain gauge

Notions:

Large Toggle Fastener
Yarn Needle
Scissors
Sewing Thread and Needle

Yarn:

Big Twist Chunky
Shown in Natural
5 skeins-small and medium, 6 skeins-large

Yardage:

800-1110 yards

As long as gauge is met, other yarns can be substituted:
Bernat Big Ball Chunky Yarn
Lion Brand Wool-Ease Chunky Yarn
Patons (North America) Shetland Chunky
Red Heart Chunky Soft

Abbreviations/Stitches:

ch- chain
hdc- half double crochet
dc- Double Crochet
fpdc; Front Post Double Crochet
bpdc: Back Post Double Crochet
Skill Level: Easy/Intermediate

Gauge:

4x4 inches = 9 stitches x 7 rows in hdc stitch. Check gauge to obtain correct measurements.

Measurements/Sizes:

Small: 35 wide by 30 ½ long
Medium: 41 wide by 35 long
Large: 47 wide by 39 ½ long
