What you will need:

Hook, I used the H (5.0mm).

Yarn, I used WeCrochet Dishie, 100% Cotton Worsted Yarn. This stitch has a great definition in cotton yarn and would work well for a dishcloth.

Optional, use a stitch marker to keep track of stitches if necessary.

Favorite Crochet Hooks:

Abbreviations:

Ch - Chain
dc - double crochet
Hbdc - herringbone double crochet
Stsc - stacked single crochet
st - stitch

Notes:

If you don't want to use a stacked single crochet at the beginning of the row it can be substituted with a chain 2.

Using a double crochet stitch at the end of the row will help lessen the lean.
