Love Hand Dyed Yarn?

My favorite yarn shop is Four Purls in Winter Haven, Florida. It's always a delight to chat with shop owners Laura and JD, plus squish the most amazing yarn. For this hat I used Emma's Yarn Crazy Beautiful Color in Simply Spectacular DK in colorways Poolside and Whisper Colorways.

A tabletop with two skeins of yarn, a lit candle, scissors, crochet hook, a leather tape measure, and some small metal labels all set for crafting a beautiful Diamond Granny Stitch Crochet Hat. A potted plant is partially visible in the corner.

Finishing

Weave in any stray ends. Attach a pompom to the top of the hat if desired, or add a perosnalized tag, and wear. Keep cozy all season!

To maintain the gorgeous look and feel of your new handcrafted hat, remove the pompom and gently wash the hat in cool water using a mild detergent (either by hand or in the washing machine - make sure to read your yarn label to see what is recommended).

Lay it flat to dry, and for an extra touch, you can even fluff up the pompom before reattaching it. Want to make more hats? Try the adorable Colorwork Mushroom Hat or the Macchiato Beanie.  Both designs are available in multiple sizes!

Cheers, and happy crocheting!
