Option 2: Two-Color Cozy
With Orange Yarn.
Setup: Ch 15 (19).
Row 1 (WS):
Starting in the second ch from the hook, sc in each across, turn. | 14 (18) sts
Row 2 (RS):
Ch 1 (does not count as a stitch here and throughout), blo sc in each st across, turn.
Row 3:
Ch 1, sc 1, *skip the next st, sc in next, work a puff st into the skipped st; repeat from * across until the last 3 sts, blo sc in the last 3 sts, turn.
Row 4:
Ch 1, blo sc 3, *skip the next st, sc in next, work a puff st into the skipped st; repeat from * across until the last st, sc in the last st, turn.
Rows 5-6:
Ch 1, blo sc in each st across, turn.
Row 7:
Ch 1, sc 1, *skip the next st, sc in next, work a puff st into the skipped st; repeat from * across until the last 3 sts, blo sc in the last 3 sts, turn.
Row 8:
Ch 1, blo sc 3, *skip the next st, sc in next, work a puff st into the skipped st; repeat from * across until the last st, sc in the last st, turn.
Rows 9-32:
Repeat Rows 5-8, or until desired size to wrap around your cup.

Joining
Fold the piece together with the wrong side facing out, matching up the current and Row 1. Ch 1, sl st through the first st of the current row and the stitch from Row 1 at the same time to join. Repeat for all the sts across. Fasten off. Flip the piece to the right side facing out. Go to Green Leaves Section.

Size Tip
Want a different size? Chain in multiples of 2 + a turning chain for height, then follow the instructions.
2-Color Green Top
With Green yarn. Work along the top edge of the pumpkin cozy body. Join near the seam and ch 1, sc 1 in the same space as joined. *Insert your hook into the left bar of the sc st, then insert into the next row edge space. YO and pull up a loop, then pull through the first loop on the hook. YO and pull through the remaining two loops on the hook. Repeat from * all the way around the top edge, join to the first st.
Row 1:
Ch 4, sc in second chain from hook and across the chains to body of pumpkin, sl st the next 2 sts on the body edge (these do not count as sts), turn. | 3 sts
Row 2:
Skip the 2 sts from the body edge, in blo sc in each st across until the last st, sc in both loops of the last st, turn. | 3 sts
Row 3:
Ch 1 (does not count as a stitch), sc through both loops of the first st, blo sc in each st across, sl st the next 2 sts along the body edge, turn.
Repeats:
Repeat Rows 2-3 around the top of the pumpkin cozy. Fasten off and use your tail end to seam together the first and last rows. Weave in ends.

Leaves
With Green Yarn.
Ch 6, insert your hook into the 2nd ch from the hook, yo and pull up a loop, *[insert your hook into the next ch, yo and pull up a loop] 4 times and each time you pull up a loop make it a little bit higher than the previous loop (6 loops on the hook) , yo and pull through 1 loop on the hook, [yo and pull through 2 loops on the hook] 5 times, ch 1, working across the opposite sides of the chains; repeat from * one more time, fasten off and weave in tail end.
Using the beginning tail end to sew the leaves onto the pumpkin cozy.
